LIVING THE VEDA

As the first installment of the ‘Knowledge for Life’ series, Vibrate Higher x Jonni Pollard present ‘Living The Veda’

November 12-19, 2023 Byron Bay, Australia

In this 8-day nonresidential retreat we will define the Vedic world view in the most practical way, what it really means to live Vedic Knowledge in everyday life and be spontaneously expressive of its wisdom moment to moment.

Learn how to integrate this transformational knowledge into daily life and live more joyfully.

What does it mean to live a Vedic life?

The word Vedic comes from the Sanskrit word ‘Ved(a) which means to know. The Vedic tradition is dedicated to the awakening of humanities deepest and truest nature - the knowingness of our Divinity

Over 8 days of deep knowledge sessions, practice and reflection, we will refine our understanding of how to embody the promise of this ancient body of knowledge. The result will be immense clarity of Self, a richer understanding of the sacredness of our existence and the power we have to actualize our deepest desires in service of all life.

Key subjects we will study

  • What is the Veda? – The laws of nature that govern human consciousness

  • God and the gods – The hierarchy of creation

  • The 3 layers of reality – The playground in which we exist

  • The 7 states of consciousness – the map to our enlightenment

  • Rishihood – actualizing the potential of human consciousness

  • The 3 Gunas – A lens to understanding non-dualism

  • Karma and Dharma – the unity of pre-determinism and freewill

  • The confluence of the 4 paths of yoga – How we awaken human consciousness

  • Chakra’s and their activation – the subtle energetic system

  • Revealing Samskaras - Healing the trauma we carry

  • The imperative of Sadhana - daily spiritual practice

  • Mantra and Yantra - awakening the senses to detect the divine

  • Puja and Yagya – the practice of invoking our deepest nature

The core component - Relationships

The purpose of Vedic knowledge is to reveal the underlying unity of life. As the awareness of our belonging to all life dawns, so does a myriad of questions of how we practically integrate this spiritual understanding of life into our everyday relationships. Given that all life is unified by one whole feild of consciousness, surely then relationships with other humans must be the highest expression of this awareness? The great promise of the Veda is the enriching of all relationships in our lives or at least the wisdom of how to surrender and accept those relationships that are challenging to progress. Jonni is most passionate about teaching how to liberate our relationships into the highest expression of our dawning enlightenment.

Knowledge discourses

The main component of this retreat is the daily discourses. Each lecture is themed and structured in a sequential manner so to iterate on the previous lecture. This will enable you to maximize comprehension of the material and formulate a global view of the knowledge.

All the lectures and Q&A will be filmed and edited into short format courses in which all retreat participants will gain access too as part of their complementary 1-year membership to Vibrate Higher.
